The brief was to link site and residence with cultural identity, all the while maintaining close links to the client Stephen Page. Simplicity of living, natural light and private spaces where of strong importance as was not creating a negative environmental impact on the site itself. Page's love of interprative aboriginal dance and close cultural ties insighted many exciting possibilities. Combined with the challenging site location and beautiful landscape the design really worked itself into the site and form.
